Just swapped shops due to quitting my last one because of internal staff politics (assistant manager is a cunt). On the first day I found a leather jacket that fitted me perfectly and looks new. Staff discount meant it was £10 rather than £30.

I have decent shifts the next two weeks. Not a single early shift in sight so I don't have to get up at 4:30 which just depresses me really. I enjoy my job but not the damn early shifts downside of it is I'm am late shift new years eve and then all day new years day. But then on the 4th I fly to Florida so I don't really care. 20 days no work, I fucking need it as well

Guy on fb was advertising that for his project this year he wanted to record a bands EP in a proper studio (the kind youd pay at least a grand for) for completely free
So I messaged him about a month ago and he just got back to us saying he got a load of bands message him but we basically won and he's gonna record us

I was hoping to be able to hit both a Northern Ireland and Republic group game in the Euros next year. The first 2 group match days aren't feasible because of distance but match day 3 is. It unfortunately means I need to choose between King Diamond in London and Northern Ireland vs Germany in Paris, but Republic Of Ireland vs Italy in Lille is getting hit either way. That will probably be the match that decides group E and given our track record against Italy and the transitional phase they are currently in a win is definitely possible for us.

Boss only in for another 1/2 day before xmas. Free buffet at work today to top it all off. And interview #1 of a potential three possibly on the cards first week of Jan.

Bit later than expected finish for Christmas tomorrow due to having the whole week off for my birthday and a couple of days ill. Great news is I am only being sent to Northampton and prob Nottingham if the day goes good. Home just in time to watch Star Wars and hopefully a few beverages.

Also yday not sure how to react to this but went into the off licence I used to use before Tyskie was available closer to home. Old guy recognised me and sold me 24 cans for 25 quid, instead of nearly 30. Merry christmas to me.
