Just had my 10 year aniversary at work. I'm getting £500 from the company to buy myself a present.
:D

Just got to decide what to spend it on.
Mary had a little lamb its fleece was coloured red
The reason for the colouring was the axe stuck in its head

i wanna work at your place!
our work spends £5 for each year you have been there on leaving presents, even though each member of staff pays £15 a year into the kitty.
our technician left at easter, after 25 yrs he was given £125. he got almost the same from a collection done as a department.

Pah, I got a £100 when I left the school from whiparound, and that was after 2 years! Imagine what it'd be after 25!! I'd be loaded!

Got 2 aerial gigs booked for june! got my kimono on its way for one of my costumes and next weekend it has been arranged for more costume shopping.
I actually have time to be online again, i have some tasty ribs waiting for me at my bf's house tomorow so cant wait to eat them.
My aerial hoop was getting made today, well parts of it anyway.
And life is just generally good!
What fools these mortals be.

We got to choose what we got for rewards. We use to get emailed an award amount and then go onto this special page and order vouchers for pretty much anywhere and they would send you the vouchers.
It was kind of nice as it meant you actually got to buy something nice for yourself instead of it getting mixed in with wages and then spent on something boring like food.

I've been in the Civil Service for 20 years as of two weeks ago and with my department for 12. Reward = stuff all.

I'm pretty happy today actually.
I have been going through my original training materials and I thought it would take me a few weeks to get back up to scratch, but so far it's all made sense.

I'm heading out soon to buy some treats.

This evening a friend of ours is coming to stay and we are heading to the CAMRA beer festival which is on this weekend. :)

Wife out for the day, nipper at nursery, new Old Man's Child album spewing it's venom from my speakers.
