There Will Be Blood, No Country For Old Men and The Assasination Of Jesse James (By the Coward Robert Ford) are a 'trilogy' (I say trillogy, but you know...) of films in which everything is dead quiet, slow paced and arguably flat out dull and everyone I know hates them. The quiet, slow paced-ness is what I like so much about them tbh, they're very relaxing.

I don't forgive it for the ending. I actually had to check my disk for scratches that it wasn't skipping chapters. Totally ruined my zoning out.

A girl at work today suddenly went "you like Devin Townsend, yes?" to me, turns out she's a massive fan and she saw it when we became facebook friends and now I've got a friend to go to the rock club with because of it. ty, internet.

also this one track from the new Blind Guardian album is so fucking awesome I can barely stand it.

Great day out busking with friends. Missed the party though. I'm about to crash through exhaustion. Had an hour's sleep last night, coupled with the fact I've been playing music most of the day
If it sounds good, listen to it

Nah, that's one of the ones that I haven't got into yet. but then I never like their studio albums much, although they are easily my favourite live band.

Had my tent up in the garden for a few days to see how it stands up to a bit of wind and rain, and it seems perfectly fine :)
