Night out me and the girls had last night, had a very fun time! pub crawl then ended up in some rock pub dancing and pratting about til 4am. was so funny, we were the life and soul of that place, we got everyone going.

Made me laugh even more when a guy who was tryin it on kept coming over, and I'd said I have a boyfriend, so he kept saying how I don't act like I'm taken ...?... cos when I'm running about taking the piss being a lairy bastard and acting more like a lad than a lady, means I'm on the pull..? :| lol. I looked a right nob, I think even steve would have shuddered at the sight of me  but still, are you not allowed to have a laugh if your with someone, and walk around with a sign saying 'you can't hit this shit'. Not like I was slagged up or flirting with folk or owt. dickhead

I kept getting a load of southerners taking the piss for being northern as well, always a good laugh. Think the best comment was 'I could tell you were from yorkshire cos only northern girls drink pints'

He looks like one of those tragic-era Elvis impersonators.

After spending the last month on the dole, and getting pretty disallusioned with it all,I had an interview with an employment agency this morning, they've sorted me a job out straightaway,I start tonight 10 pm till six tomorrow morning, only six quid an hour to start with, but the dole money was £57 a week!

Looking forward to posting in the "pissed off" thread about having to go to bloody work soon :D

Agency or not, 6 quid an hour for nights is outrageous!!! Moreso when you think your new workplace will be paying the agency £20 an hour for you....

I got that much years ago on agency night work, and then you got inflation on top of that, minimum wage was less back then as well

then you'll get told they'll have you working for a few weeks so you wait for them to phone you about when your next in to only find your doing 1 day for that week, your missing bowling with your mates and 3 years later you get a letter from the government saying your £40 short on your national insurance for that year and if you don't pay it, the whole year won't count towards your state pension

I've been recommended not to pay it but I've got until 2011 so I'm going to wait until then, leave it in the cash ISA making me money and then decide if I want to pay it or not
