I didnt manage all the second session (i cut it short by 20 mins as I was proper hungry and really needed to pee )

I'm actually pretty happy as usually I would beat myself up for failing, yet I'm actually genuinly happy with what I did.

Feeling pretty happy with stuff at moment. Focusing on myself rather than others and seem happier for it.
Also been working on new material and it might actually be finished this year :p

I wouldn't call swimming for 3 hours and 40 minutes a failing :P My mate swims county and doesn't do more than 2 1/2 in an intensive day.

Is it near the Bread & Bitter? That's a really nice pub.

Not that far down the road if that's the pub in the Ale Trail leaflet. Just a short bus ride away though. The flat is a 15 min walk from Vic Bus Station, or 10 mins to it as downhill.

Current letting agents finally got back to me to confirm lease end date - 8th April. Just a couple of weeks left in this freezer in the town of special people :D

^ House warming party! :nana:

I woke up stupidly early as I have a cold and been thinking about stuff, So I grabbed myself a coffee, put my snuggly christmas socks on and grabbed my bike and went for a cycle. Managed to listen to most of Edge of Sanity Crimson I and Crimson II.

Home feeling pretty chilled and refreshed and about to have a boiling hot shower :)

Also weighed myself this morning for the first time in two weeks (I was too scared last week) and have lost over half a stone. Which is a miracle as my diet has mainly been pub food and ale as I have been ale trailin and I cut out a few swimming sessions as I was feeling full and hungover.

A job I got through to the interview stage for a few years ago has just been re advertised.
I sent them my CV and on the cover letter I explained that I had an interview for the job before and wasn't successful and that when I had asked for feedback it was because I was not experienced enough at the time but in the meantime I have gained appropriate experience and wrote about all the other cool stuff I had been working on between now and then.

I'm so happy I asked for feedback now - I have a very good feeling about this.

Just had the phone interview and I'm through to the next part, which is apparently a face-to-face competency test. So more of the same that I just had, but without me having notes in front of me (by the way, massive thanks to Jim, as I paraphrased what you said and she sounded impressed!). Looks like it'll be Monday at the earliest, so plenty of time to prepare

I've heard back from one of the law firms I applied for about a summer scheme/potential training contract and funding after I graduate.

Out of about 800 applicants, I've passed the interview, and am now down to the final 20 or so for the assessment day, about 10 then get a placement and 8 get jobs. I like these odds, fingers crossed :)

 Well done. I know how hard Training Contracts are to get, especially since the recession. I've given up and am in the 20,000+ statistic of LPC graduates still unqualified (though I would only need to do 18 months due to my case handling experience.

And well done to everyone else in their interviews.

I'm off to make a tit of myself in front of one of my favourite bands. Not before a few drinks first.
