I fucking hate journalists too.

Hardly a vaguely intelligent or unusual word, but The Sun writers need to find a new synonym for "telling off", as seeing "rap" in every single headline got old years ago.

I like the use of 'tragic' to describe anyone who's ever suffered a misfortune. 'Tragic Coleen Rooney tries on a bikini', etc.

Apparently me saying "'defo' doesnt sound like something you'd say!" To a turkish friend of mine counts as racism. Enough to make her delete me off facebook.
Sensitive much? :|

It gets tiresome when journalists of any kind, be it political, music, gaming, whatever attempts to show off their vocabulary, intelligence and grasp of the English language by using 'posh' words in their writing or reviews. It's a form of snobbery that I've never understood the purpose of. As I see it, the fewer people that understand you, the worse you're doing your job as a journalist. Mind you, Smash Hits kept to a primary school literacy standard and looked where it got them. Interestingly, The Sun still goes strong... Both were/are in the same league of journalism with all the research and passion that goes/went with it.
If it sounds good, listen to it

Feel a bit sick and generally unwell. Hope it's just a bug or something and not my crohns flaring up. I'm running out of treatements if it's the latter.

Best mate has let me down and ruined my weekend. I was meant to be going to Portsmouth with him to see friends and go to a festival but he's decided that cancelling and letting everyone down is a good way to show his girlfriend that he cares and convince her to take him back. (I might add, him and his girlfriend break up and get back together every other week, one of those  )

Oh is it the same bird he keeps breaking up with? I figured that every time I saw his relationship status change on Facebook it was a different bird

Nah, the same one, at least probably the while you've known him. It's the same story with every other relationship he's had though, gave up caring a fair while back.

Haha, disappointing. I had him down as some kind of player, but with a really short attention span
