I'd ask for a builder's cv first. Don't trust these people who haven't got a C in classical history in their O levels.

Not a major thing, but being told to go get a file by my team leader today. WTF, am I a file clerk now?! Team Leader means, be an final authority, handle training, assign work, etc......but it's not to change somebody's job description. You want a file pulled rush, go pull it yourself.

[/vented]

Went a pulled the file anyway, just to show that I hadn't made any mistakes. Someone else made the mistake. Then the changes he asked me to make, I just handed off to the assistant to process.

What a stupid waste of time.

I thought a team leader's job was to.. y'know.. lead the team? As in, delegate tasks to members of the team to ensure the job is done quickly and efficiently?

Got my phone screen fixed on the cheap yesterday a couple of weeks ago from a, how shall I say, independent PC/phone repair shop (cash only and no receipts)

Clipped my pocket off a door this morning and the screen pretty much exploded in my pocket. Pissed at the cheap screen and waste of money, pissed at me for not spending a little more to get it fixed in the first place.

Tempted to buy an England top for the World Cup, but £55 is a tad steep. Going to have to mull it over.

Wouldn't just be for three games. At £55 a pop I wouldn't buy another one. This year could be my "oh that was the shirt for that year," and for following years it can be a vintage England top.

I don't have one, and have wanted one for years but never got around to it.

I do think the childrens are a bit dear considering how quickly they grow. Only growing ill be doing is outwards, but that can be controlled. I really want to rejoin a gym at some point when money is better.

Get a retro top, then you can get away with just digging it out the wardrobe for tournaments every other summer

EDIT : Which reminds me that I need to go find mine and get washed before next month :D

I would love this one:

Think it was by far the best kit we ever had. Think the crosses on the shoulders were pretty bloody special.

There's nothing for me to eat, but I'm too tired to go to Sainsbury's to get something.
