Not bollocks, but depends really who's in at what time. People on checkouts where Mike works do not have access to these machines, however on my department when I worked there we may have done and only myself being the team leader and my manager. They keep the money takers (the tills) away from the money managers (myself and my manager) to stop 'fiddling' of money - I wasn't allowed on tills for this reason, so yeah it worked both ways. However my department didn't often work beyond about 5pm, so at 8pm Mike would not have had access to these ATMs.

Yeah, believe it or not there are people that drive around monitoring these vans and have been known to draw up plans of heisting them at points in their journey where they are most vulnerable i.e. outside town centres. I have heard of cases where people have been held at gun point because they followed the same routines, routes and timetables. I don't understand why cash handlers drive around in marked vans, shit a cash van without the companys name written on the side would make greater sense to me, but that's life.
