Don't buy one on Ebay. I've had mine a year now and there are no problems with it what-so-ever. It has read every disk perfectly with no glitches. I guess it also depends on how you're going to treat it, I know a few people who move theirs around the house (not very carefully) so it might get damaged that way. Mine just stays in the same place, I did add additional cooling fans too it so that it reduced the heat during the summer months.

Actually, the 3 red rings pertains to just one fault, the soldering on the heatsink. Its got nothing to do with moving it around or anything, just if it gets hot enough.

I had a lot of trouble with my 360's overheating, its best to stand them on their side than flat I reckon because then you aren't blocking up the heat vent things

The beer at the Wedgewood Rooms. I don't know if the lines need cleaning or they have already been cleaned but with horse-piss but I paid £3 for a pint and I couldn't stomach more than a couple of mouthfuls.
The crowd at local gigs. Maybe this is just a Pompey thing but there's a definite tendency for large chunks of the crowd to bugger off home after their mate's band has played. What? You can't spare another hour or so out of your busy schedule to check out the next band?

Bicyclists on the way to/from work. I walk along the canal with my headphones on, and generally cant hear them sneaking up behind me, and its only wide enough for one person and a bit on the path. Theyre so bloody arrogant thinking i should force myself up against the wall or just in the bloody nettles so they can get past(and they never thank me if I do!), or they just fly by me nearly knocking me in. Im tempted to just not listen to my ipod simply so I can hear them coming or walk the longer way home, but I will NOT let them win!!!!! :x

Agreed! I hate that! Being in the other band, it is always frustrating when someone brings a load of people to a gig then let them all disappear. Even more annoying is when the band themselves do a runner straight after they're set!

People always used to leave when our band got on stage (I say stage, mean open area on the floor) but thats cos the club was full of skaters and we played cyberdeath kinda of stuff, and we were usually hammered on cheap whiskey. So understandable really....

But yeah, I agree! Stick around and see some new bands! I think if people are leaving when bands are on they are there for the image, not the music.
