THIS.

You've got to be kidding. And there's me finally coming to terms with not being able to go this year, thinking 'it's ok, the lineup doesn't really suit you anyway' :(

As for specifics, I viewed 3 houses today, two were unlivable, and one was positively magnificent...

...The magnificent one later turned out to be impossible, since rent starts 2 months before we're able to begin. Funktastic.

Reminds me of when my mate used to DJ a metal night and someone came up to request some Slayer - while Chemical Warfare was playing! And then to top it off he utterly refused to believe that it was a Slayer song that was playing at the time.

Stumbled across the VH1 "Top 20 80s Metal Videos"

Since when have J Geils Band been metal?

Just checked back. Foreigner - I want to know what love is. Now they're really getting silly.

I watched Top 10 Greatest Albums ever on TMF the other day. Thriller won. Craig David's 'Born To Do It' was second.

Not as silly as the "metal" section in Liverpool's HMV used to be. I've not looked in it for ages (largely due to being able to get most things I want at least a fiver cheaper on t'internet) but they used to have the likes of Busted and Avril Lavigne in there.

Losing my return ticket on the way home from Birmingham yesterday. Had my booking comfirmation with me but still needed to fork out £17 for the journey home.

Mates gave me some money towards it though, which is nice.

Manchester HMV's are no different. They put My Chemical Romance and I think I saw Fall Out Boy in the METAL section... :|

Darlington's metal section is pretty much non-existent. I generally just refuse to go into HMV cos I know it'll be full of nothingness and fail. They used to have an alright section, a row in fact, now they just have a tiny stand. Stupid and ghey.

Oh also I went to a museum today (Bowes) to further help me for my project but they're renovating the entire textiles dept :ugh: waste of time.
We raise our wooden pints and we yoik and sing and we fight and dance til the morning!
