How can they take something so uniquely English and remake it? They messed up Wicker Man, Village of the Damned and Life on Mars. They'll be doing Boys from the Black Stuff, GBH, Ripping Yarns next. What would they make of Likely Lads, Queenies Castle and Common as Muck (Edward Woodward RIP), Rab C Nesbitt and other essentially British comedies.

Did you see The Office? Also, apparently there was an American remake of Red Dwarf. It bombed.

World Cup qualifier last night, Theirry Henry handballing to keep the ball in play, then pushing the ball towards his feet to pass it to Gallas to score and put Ireland out. All of this whilst both of them being offside! Yeah could say its awfully fucking annoying to not being going to S.Africa World Cup because of blatant french cheating!
