We have to bring all the patients in at the same time - even if there's 7 or 8 on a list. Mainly because some get cancelled last minute due to various reasons (patients turning up after having their breakfast, patients with too high a Blood pressure, patient not stopping necessary medication).
It means the consultant/theatre staff can get cracking on without large gaps.
He sounds like an absolute arse, he'd fit in well with our patients.![]()
Patients rather shockingly being told they are pregnant just as they are about to be taken into surgery first on the list.

This. A small dinner, 10 pints of Smithwicks and two Tennants has left me fucked today. Was good craic though.

Why would you willingly drink Clyde Water? D:

We had a girl run out the hospital in tears when the test came back positive

Re: What pissed you off today
Exciting Scottish Power update!.
Established the £800 bill is for an estimated meter reading from 17,000units to 22,800 units. The meter reading when the meter was installed (7 months ago)? 22,300
I should be paying for 500 units, not 5k.
Also worked out why they have alleged I've already paid £46 of my bill. It cost £46 to have the meters changed....
So far I have made a good half dozen phone calls and even had one meter reader and they still haven't updated their computer system to the fact that I am on an ordinary meter not prepayment.
I'd say they are useless, absymal cunts, but that's unfair on useless, abysmal cunts.

Complain on their own facebook page. They hate the publicity and someone with a reasonable level of authority usually contact customers directly after such complaints (as long as you sound aggrieved but not violently so)
I did it a short time ago regarding a telecoms company and got a private message with a direct number to a manager who sorted everything out.
Got to be worth a try ?

That's a good point, they actually respond to their twitter account so pipe up on there. SP_EnergyPeople I think it is.
Who the hell reads anything in sigs these days, unless it's an animated gif?

Yeah, most companies won't do shit until it goes on social media these days.

Scottish Power? Sounds like some dodgy organisation for ginger people.

They need to be following you for you to DM them, but if you ask them to follow you as you've a query, they will do so and then you can send them a DM.
