Every time I introduce myself to somebody not from NI "My name is Jamie" "Jimmy?" "No Jamie" "Ah cool, nice to meet you Jimmy"

I get called Anna quite frequently and some people are convinced my name is Helen because of the author though that hasn't happened for a while.

Actually, that's another annoying thing. People who ask my name, I tell them Jamie and they call me James.

The rules with me seem to go family call me Matt, girlfriends call me Matthew and friends call me Matty with a soft t or "mawddy" depending on thickness of their accent. Or "Matteeeee" in the case on Ania.
