What pissed you off today
Re: What pissed you off today
My laptop keeps telling me what Windows Security Centre cannot detect antivirus or anti spyware software, despite having both Avast and Spybot Search and Destroy installed and running. But then when I open it it says everything is fine, so I have to put up with the irritating pop up bubble things

In the security centre options, tell it to stop checking and you'll manage them yourself. Should stop the pop-ups.

Re: What pissed you off today
When I go in, everything is green and says "such and such is monitoring your computer" so it doesn't actually give me the option of saying I'll monitor it myself.

Quick question, did this just start popping up. Also can you check for any instances where it says the word 'Windows' and check that they are all spelt with a capital W?

Nah, they've been popping up ever since I changed User Profiles because my old one got corrupted. Initially it was because Avast was only set on my old one so wasn't monitoring this user profile, but I redownloaded and installed it on this user profile, the pop ups have just continued.

Aaaaaaargh, it's way too hot to bear.
I've just been naked since having a shower and I can't go on all day like this. It's making me feel crap man..

I've got all the windows open and even dug out this powerful fan from the attic but it's still killing me. The worst thing is that I sleep right next to a huge window which lets the sun rape me every morning at around 9am. I don't know what it is but I wake up with this horrible burning sensation on me. I don't have curtains lol.

They don't work. Although all of the furniture in my room being black or gray is probably a factor in that (I promise I'm not a massive goth, but when in Ikea one must buy everything to match).

I hate the heat. I'd much rather it be sensible temperature...5 degrees...10 maximum! Didn't sleep at all last night and was stuck to sheets

Meh, it needs to be in the mid 30's to low 40's before I'd consider it unbearable. I mean even that sort of temperatre is bearable, but the places I've been too that have that sort of heat also tend to have air con as standard that you can escape to once in a while.
