I rather agree with this, but as I'd rather bath in nettles than pick up the Daily Fail, I will duck and pick up the Daily Telegraph

The actual topics are good, its just the God side of things :/

It really depends on who's teaching you. It's a fascinating topic when you get someone who doesn't align with any religion in particular and lectures about the history of modern religions and the theologies behind them.

This, it doesn't work so well with a religious teacher and class who are incapable of thinking even beyond bible logic (a friend of mine's situation)

We did OCR Chemistry at A-Level. The first exam was easy, the second and third were a nightmare and the final one was easy.

Ah I'm on AQA, if that actually makes any difference :P To be fair, my teachers have said unit 2 is much harder, oh joy of joys

georgebailey96 wrote:Anyway, how did your ISA go?

Mine went really well, one more lunchtime and i'm caught up with everyone else

Haha, pretty badly :P Spent two hours on the practical and then had the hour exam straight after so missed half of a history lesson and my break  Oh well, see how the results turn out :P

An ISA is an Investigative Skills Assessment

My RE teacher had less enthusiasm in the subject than I do.

Finally paid off my overdraft and I'm in the plus figures, yet Ireland this weekend and £700 for car insurance will soon put me back in my place :(

I live on coffee. And no I'm not eating in excess nowadays due to restricted funds. I'm going though a slight diet change so my body probably isn't used to it.

Yeah...I hear ya on the water. What's a cheap source of protein? Nuts? Trying to spend a little less on chicken, beef and carbs and more on fruit and veg. Not really used to this :P

Caffiene can stimulate your appetite, though.

Cheap sources of protein are nuts and nut butters (though they're high in fat), eggs, fish (you can get frozen white fish or tins of tuna etc really cheaply), beans (you can get tins of beans/lentils for less than 50p), greek yoghurt aaand soy like Jim said. All good things.

Getting up at 4:30 for classes so often is knackering, even if I'm home by about midday I then spend a good few hours asleep, and then I just feel really lethargic and crappy for the rest of the evening, until I go to bed and can't sleep because I've slept too much. I really wish I didn't have days where I had to be in by 7:30.

Lies. The flavoured ones are over-sugary and shit but the plain ones are great for me.

I've never tried anything soy as it seems like it'd be worse than whatever it's substituting. If I wanted a dairy free milk I'd get almond milk cos it's sexy.
