After getting my car back yesterday decided to take it out for an early evening spin to start getting reacquainted with its impracticalities.
I live two minutes off the motorway junction, so started the car, drove up to the junction and accelerated up the slip road. Just as I was entering the motorway itself, felt a huge draft from behind me, had a look and my roof is hovering about half a foot above the back of the car and the rear screen was flapping in the breeze.....no it isn't, it's off and bouncing down the motorway.......and now it's in pieces.
Arseholes at the garage hadn't bothered doing the fastenings up on the hardtop so I was lucky that this happened as it did, and not a bit further down the motorway when chances are the whole roof would have lifted off and caused mayhem.
Also discovered I can no longer open the front bonnet as they've fitted the panel back incorrectly and it is now fouling the windscreen wipers and removing paint every time they move and the fact they've dropped a screw or something into the chassis which is rattling on acceleration and deceleration.
There will be a serious round of fucks going on at that garage tomorrow.
