Mad Max 3 doesn't exist.
Tina Turner never sang the theme song, The cast of Home and Away and The Flying Doctors didn't appear in it, and Angry Anderson wasn't an annoying fucking twat.

The third had so many pot holes in it, it was God awful. It put me off wanting to watch the other 2 although the new one looks great.

Watched the first one a while ago and I don't get the hype. Normally I love post-apocalyptic stuff and lots of leather jackets but Mad Max bored me.

Saw Au Revoir Les Enfants at the cinema today. Heartbreaking, poignant, slow burning, coming of age masterpiece.

Yeah the first one was a bit boring. Mad Max 2 was better, even if the main bad guy was Jason from the Friday the 13th movies in bondage gear.

Tomb Raider is on. Time to see if Angelina side-boob is as exciting as it was when I was 10.

Just watched Interstellar. Thought I was going to get pretty bored with it since it's pretty much 3 hours long, but it went pretty quickly. Got a bit mental in parts, but overall it was pretty good.

Late to the party but the first Mad Max film is great for what it is and how much it cost.
The second is a lot more fun and has the budget to do a lot more than the original set out.
The third is cheesy fun, but not a patch on its predecessors.
Fury Road looks amazing and I'm ridiculously excited for it.

I love me some Tom Hardy, and everything I've heard from the crew makes it sound beasty as fuck.

I'm compiling a list of satanic or blasphemous period-based horror and sleaze films for an article for my next fanzine, was wondering if anyone had any obscure additions that I may have missed. 1960's through to 80's preferably and must have a historical setting so no To The Devil A Daughter, The Devil Rides Out or The Omen etc., as awesome as they are. Here's what I have so far.

Black Sunday
Doctor Faustus
Witchfinder General
Mark Of The Devil
Mark Of The Devil II
Hammer's Carmilla Trilogy (The Vampire Lovers, Lust For A Vampire and Twins Of Evil)
The Masque Of The Red Death
The Blood On Satan's Claw
The Devils
Cry Of The Banshee
Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter
Ceremonia Sangrienta
Flavia
The Devil's Wedding Night
Alucarda
Love Letters Of A Portuguese Nun
Images In A Convent
Behind Convent Walls
The Other Hell
Enter The Devil
The Castro's Abbess
The True Story Of The Nun Of Monza
Le Moine
Nun And The Devil
The Sinful Nuns Of Saint Valentine
The Demons
Satanico Pandemonium: La Sexorcisto
Story Of A Cloistered Nun

Countess Dracula
Vampire Circus

The other Roger Corman horror films?

House of Usher (1960) (based on the short story "The Fall of the House of Usher")
The Pit and the Pendulum (1961) (based on the short story of the same name)
The Premature Burial (1962) (based on the short story of the same name)
Tales of Terror (1962) (based on the short stories "Morella", "The Black Cat", "The Cask of Amontillado", and "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar")
The Raven (1963) (based on the poem of the same name)
The Haunted Palace (1963) (based on H.P. Lovecraft's novella The Case of Charles Dexter Ward, using the title from Poe's 1839 poem)
The Tomb of Ligeia
“He likes having the ball, playing football, passes. It’s like an orchestra. But it’s a silent song. But I like heavy metal more. I always want it loud.” - Jürgen Klopp

Countess Dracula is on the list already, must've missed one out. Vampire Circus I think I left out because I thought it was one of the earlier PG Hammer films, turns out it's one of the early 70's ones. Will add that.

I considered all the Corman-Poe ones but only The Mask Of The Red Death has a satanic element to it. I may do Pit And The Pendulum seeing as it has some bits about The Spanish Inquisition, and it has Babs Steele as the female lead who was also in Black Sunday and some other Italian films on the list so I could talk about that.

I think I may have been confusing The Case Of Charles Dexter Ward with another Lovecraft story as I had in my head it was set in the 1920's, not the Colonial era. The Haunted Palace will probably be added then. Not exactly satanic but The Old Ones are cooler anyway.

Speaking of Barbara Steele I've also added The Long Hair Of Death.
