Watched Day Watch last night, was alright, much crazier than Night Watch and not half as much action

Hancock raced through too fast I thought, with no proper depth. Bit of a weird ending too and on the short side but as you said entertaining enough.

I'm convinced I saw something with a budget of about 17p, a packet of Salt & Vinegar and an old button on The Horror Channel with a similar plot to Teeth a few years ago. I t had Lacuna Coil on the soundtrack...

haha I thought the same about Wanted too - matrix meets fightclub with some reference to star wars and a homage to samual l jackson, with a lot of over the top effects. Load of over the top bollocks. Though I thought that after seeing the trailors anyway and my brother had a go at me for being a miserable negative sod, so I ended up being dragged to see it.. saying that, because it was what I expected it did kept me more entertained than those with me (who soon realised I was right, as always lol).

Went to see Wanted last nigh...but stayed in the pub too long and missed it :( So we saw the only other film I recognised on the listing...Forbidden Kingdom. I was looking forward to seeing Jackie Chan and Jet li teaming up...but it turned out to be disappointing :( Cliched and silly.

watched a rather good film a week or two back called "the man from earth"
think of a made for tv version of k-pax but instead of claiming to be an alien
he claims to be a prehistoric man who never died

centres around him debating it with his professor friends
no action or special effects just good ole dialogue
raises a good few points
