The Dark Knight WAS pretty good, it was quite a quality film. However there were various things about it that irked me;
-Lack of gothic/art deco stylings in Gotham itself.
-Where were all these 'good people of Gotham' who everyone was fighting to protect? Everyone in Gotham seemed like a bit of a twat.
-The Joker was a fantastic character and a great performance by Ledger, but I can't help feeling like there should have been more moments like those with the pencil. I'd also like to have more of a glimpse into his back story. I couldn't help thinking like maybe some pick-ups that would normally be filmed after principal photography to fill in a few blanks were obviously not done with the Joker.
-Christian Bale's Batman voice seemed a little too forced, I don't remember him talking like that so much in Batman Begins.

Apart from these points it really, really was a good film. Can't really fault it in any other department.

Yeah I was surprised by how much lighter Gotham was in The Dark Knight, and what happened to Wayne Towers, but I'm guessing they were using a different building after the monorail smashed into the parking lot of Wayne Towers in the first film. There was a lot of action during the day in this one and no shots of the Narrows that had obviously been cordoned off or something after the end of 'Begins. But I see what you mean Xzar it did seem they were just filming New York rather than Gotham this time round.

He used it a lot in the first film, mainly getting gruffer as he got angrier.

I thought the whole thing was totally fucking brilliant though. Ledger did an awesome job as the Joker, and I would quite happily sit through the film at least twice more :P already going to see it again on tues

Stargate Continuum.

A straight to DVD release,it was ok, a rehash of some old stories/themes and made a movie about it, rounds off most of the TV series, but no mention of the Ori, guess ill have to wait for the Ark of truth now.....

Dark Knight was amazing, I went to see it with my cousin on Saturday.

I don't like those type of films usually, and I thought it would be a bit of a let down after all the hype. But I have to say, I thought it was amazing! A little bit long (I'm preparing to be shot down for that) but Heath Ledger was really fantastic. I was impressed :P

Going to see Mamma Mia later this week.

Yay =D

Saw The Dark Knight earlier this evening.
Wow.
Beforehand, I was jealous of everybody who had already seen it. Now I'm jealous of those who'll be seeing it for the first time.

The pencil trick. :lol: :lol: :lol:
