Just watched 'Enduring Love'. The book was alright, but this film was utter bollocks. Daniel Craig is an absolutely terrible actor. :|

The Talanted Mr Ripley was as good as I remember it. It's one of those really good love stories which involves severe mental illness and where loads of people get killed.

Watched Crank 2: High Voltage and Bronson today..

Crank 2: High Voltage - Bloody ridiculous film with a wafer thin plot, lots of swearing and plenty of insane visual effects and fight scenes. So quite watchable, if you're not looking to take things seriously. 3.5/5

Bronson - Batshit crazy biopic of the infamous British prisoner. Plays out a lot like a fucked up dream sequence, with re-enactments of key crimes and events in Bronson's life intersped with him showing just how fucking nuts he really is in front of a theatre audience (for some reason). I've seen it compared to A Clockwork Orange, and I can sort of see the similarity (in that the main character is a loveable anti-hero, who has noone to blame for his treatment but himself). It's worth a watch though, if only for the absolutely fantastic performance by Tom Hardy.

Great film (although some of the "facts" are open to debate) and a first rate performance by Hardy.

I keep banging on about this on Facebook and in the "...Happy" thread, but fuck it, it's to do with movies so I'll say it here, too.

I've nearly finished making a District 9 Prawn hand!! :D

well tbh, the first Crank film was pretty far fetched and is a pretty good pocorn flick. Crank 2 is just a total mindfuck on what is the most unrealistic things to happen. but its much better than the first film. i love how they evolved the filming process as well and the amount of mistakes in it are unbelievable. also i was the only one in the cinema to LOL hard when Jason Stathem shoves the shotgun up that guys arse.

I'm waiting for a few things to dry, but when they have done I'll take a few pics on my phone and get them up tonight. Was going to save it until I've painted it but meh, it's looking alright atm :)
EDIT: Here y'go! - http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=1 ... =507928632

As for District 10.. well the next part of the story won't happen for another 3 years, so it makes sense :P Tbh, I'd still be happy if they just left it at D9, it doesn't really need a sequel as it's a fantastic film on it's own, and it takes a lot of skill to make a sequel that is as good as or better than the original..

the fact that coraline was a total rip off of the thief of always totally ruined the movie for me.
