I found the woman in that to be scarier than anything. Her eyes were MASSIVE.

It was 3€ cinema day again yesterday, so I saw three films.

The Men Who Stare at Goats: Funny, bizzare, not very subtle but very good. Especially loved hippie!George Clooney and Jeff Bridges. second best scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqlOAx0ID5E & best scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KNpmRH6kKM

The Princess and the Frog: an absolutely adorable and quite funny Disney film. reminded me of new golden age Disney, with a little bit of jazz in the music. brilliant stuff.

Precious: was about the same length as the other two films but seemed longer. draggy and depressing but well-done and well-acted.

Oh its different alright...

Gayest film ever, in the literal sense. Well, not as gay as some independent films, and not as gay as gay porn, but as far as a Jim Carey film goes, its so gay. Gay gay gay gay gay.

Basically, if you'd enjoy watching Jim Carey and Ewan McGregor gaying out together, you'll love this film.

God, I used the word "gay" a lot in this post.

EDIT: I should point out though that I actually enjoyed the film

As an actor, yes. As a comedy actor, no - but mainly because its not really a comedy. There are a few moments that will give you a chuckle, but for the most part is quite serious.

I enjoyed I Love You Phillip Morris. But his first boyfriend was infinitely hotter. Ewan McGregor was adorable though.

You've not seen Bruno then

I'm in two minds about seeing it, it doesn't look too bad...but I've hated almost every Jim Carrey film and I can't stand camp people...I may end up seeing it when I run out of other films. Gotta see Shutter Island, Girl With the Dragon Tattoo first...then Scouting Book for Boys...Then this week we're on to Kick Ass and Blind Side.
