Re: movies
Just got back from Lincoln, not usually my type of film and only really went to watch Daniel Day Lewis, and I was not disappointed he has to get best actor Oscar, no question for me.

Andy Hall wrote:Just watched Lawless, true story about 3 brothers who bootlegged during prohibition America, this film was stunning, Guy Pierce once again proving just how good an actor he's become as the officer chasing them, Shia Leboef isn't annoying, Tom Hardy is superb and under plays the role brilliantly, 9/10
I thought this was pretty mediocre personally, struggled to make the end.

Re: movies
Django Unchained is straight up awesome.
Samuel L Jackson had me in stitches nearly every time he spoke.

I'm still dreading the remake. They're just gonna fuck it up.

Re: movies
I'm awaiting a fuck ton of uninteresting blandness cgi bullshit vis-à-vis Total Recall.
The physical effects in Robocop were fucking amazing.
It was just one of those movies that slipped through the cracks for me. There's a bunch of famous, awesome movies I haven't watched because I was busy spending my time watching terrible horror franchies or straight to video action movies.

Re: movies
WOW that's bad
Re: movies
If Robocop looks like that for the remake then I simply won't watch it. He looks ridiculous.
As for ED 209, I can see what they're going for, as it's certainly a "modernised" version of the old model. But it just looks like "Modern movie weaponised robot #3" - It wouldn't look out of place in Transformers or Battleship.. Whatever happened to originality?
