Went to see Arthur and the Invisibles! Was quite entertaining!
Wish they'd stop letting kids act though! They always so bad!!

Recently watched:
City of God - brilliant film

Pan's Labyrinth - amazing, moved me a lot and the music was lovely and was just such a good film!

Oldboy - very good film, the twist was brilliantly evil !

Can't wait for Hot Fuzz!
Also been watching a lot of this series by comedian/magicians Penn and Teller called 'Bullshit' which is quite interesting and very funny in parts!
BOA 2015 wish list:
Blind Guardian, Edguy, Wintersun, Fleshgod Apocalypse and Manowar

Ditto!

Films I watched recently:

The Incredibles: Ok, but def the worst thing Pixar have put out!

The Jacket: Very good. I'd never even hear of it, till I was made to borrow it. A bit confusing in parts, but well acted and suitably thought provoking...still a bit confuzzled about the ending though!

Lucky Number Slevin: Also very good! Well directed, and I like the clever twist. I actually didn't see it coming!

Cellular: Entertaining, but predictable.

Fearless: Dunno what the fuss was about, tbh. Was the same as every other Hong Kong movie Jet Li made...most notably the Most Upon a Time in China movies! Fights were good, but nothing new!

Then why have you not seen it? Just go! I saw it last Tuesday at a midnight showing, mightly good film.

Also finally got around to seeing snakes on a plane on Sunday, and I must say it was EXACTLY what I predicted it to be based on the feedback it got upon release, i.e. good enough film, but took itself too seriously when it could have been so, so good with more of its tongue in its cheek approach, ala something like Pulp Fiction.

I wouldn't have said it was anything like V for Vendetta tbh!! Not seen the movie of 1984 yet, tbh, so can't comment on that, but I've read the book and I spose I can see where you're coming from for that!
