I have absolutely no interest in watching Precious.
Ooh, a story about a poor fat illiterate black girl raped by her dad.
Can't fucking wait.

Just watched Mad Max. Holy fuck why did I wait so long?? Awesome film. I've been told it's the worst of the 3 so I'm looking forward to the other 2 now

Well yeah the 3rd (beyond thunderdome) with Tina Turner is rather... with extra also lashings of
A Storms A-Brewing!
The Clan Destined , A Forest Of Stars , Wintersun , Tiamat , Moonspell , Wardruna , Pitchshifter , Anathema , Sòlstafir , Suicidal Tendencies , Moonsorrow , Winterfylleth , Baroness & FEN for Bloodstock Open Air ....

Re: movies
Haha, I think the guy who told me that was just impressed that it featured a scene involving Tina Turner chasing Mel Gibson, trying to steal a dwarf so she can continue to run her city on pig shit.
I saw Beyond Thunderdome yeeeeears ago, so it needs another look methinks.

Re: movies
Just watched a couple of horror films that have been well received lately...and found both rather underwheleming...Thirst and Pontypool. The former in particular bored the willies out of me. I`m going to watch Inside tonight on the recommendation of a few pages back.
...and....the original Clash of the Titans dark :? I`ve seen darker shades of white.

Re: movies
just watched Push, was going cheap. looking at it as just a film it was pretty good. but looking at it as a superpowers film i was kinda disappointed although i did like the twists it did become a bit predictable after a while.

I'm halfway through Mad Max 2, so far so good.
I'd at least recommend the first one, it really impressed me as it was done on quite a small budget (AUS$400,000 - less than a quarter of a million pounds) and went on to earn millions worldwide and helped launch the career of Mel Gibson. Pretty fucking impressive stuff if you ask me.
