I'd put Oldboy down as classic eastern cinema. A remake isn't completely unwarranted but it just won't live up to the original at all. I'm only going to give it a chance as Shalto Copley is in it.

My friend and I carried on our Mutant theme last night and watched the first Wrong turn (I had actually got wrong turn and U turn confused, and after the initial disappointment of not seeing Jennifer lopez with her tits out getting bummed by her Dad it was a good film). It is probably an unpopular opinion but I preferred the second one (which we saw last week) if nothing else for the Mutant wanking and sex scene.

I also watched Black Swan for the first time last night, I dont really know what to make of it to be honest, reminded me of don't look now in the way it was shot, but felt they could have done so much more with it.

God it really annoys me when I'm on the Lovefilm site and I see a review for a foreign film and someone's given it 1 star out of 5 for having SUBTITLES! How is that a review!
