Gotta say Obsydian, you are the only person who has raised any negative points about these biscuits
These are biscuits of the Gods, make no mistake!
Also, that 16x12 looks ace, reckon we should get a wall in for the next tour Fatboy!?
Anyway, back to the toast......is there any point to marmalade that isn't thick cut?

I'm liking the sound of these biscuits. Might have to forget aout cutting down for a couple of days and down a pack of these!
As for toast....love the stuff and as has been said, it's gotta be thick cut and you can't beat real butter spread very generously.
Anyone ever tried brown sauce on toast? Was one of my late night drunken snacks a while back and I really rather enjoyed it. Lemon Curd is a fine choice though, as is thick cut marmalade.

Thin cut marmalade? Only when there's no thick cut, and it's got to be mature!

As for toast ... you can't beat thick cut fresh bread with butter and .... Marmite!! Manna from heaven ... well to me anyway! I have been given to understand that it's an acquired taste!

I can see exactly where he is coming from!
You either love it or loathe it. I love it ... Sammi loathes it with a passion .... and it makes him ... erm ... not so well!
Can we now debate the difference between a pikelet and a crumpet?
