Yes. People hide themselves behind clothes and keep themselves clean-shaven because society (and in some cases law, religion and the environment) demands it. Hair dying is an interesting one, as some people do change their hair colour simply because they fancy a change, I don't have an opinion on that. Others dye their hair to hide greys to conform to society, and some dye their hair "unnatural" colours to rebel against society.

However, I'm not as anti-clothes/shaving/hair-dying as I am anti-makeup. Probably due to laziness.

Cancer Research UK admits to using animal experimentation. Some people are comfortable with that, I'm not. I'm not exactly an animal rights nutter who agrees with tactics used by the ALF though. But I won't give money to charities that use animals.

Correct me if i'm wrong but aren't medical trails required to have a stage of animal testing? There's no better alternative at this point anyway so unless you want to halt medical research entirely, some bunnies are going to have to suffer.

No idea. They should use paedophiles then, they are nearly human.

No, they have more genes in common with crabs than you or me....

This.

The medication that saved my Dad's life has a well documented history of being tested on animals, so I'm probably a little biased.

I am much happier in the knowledge that things are tested properly before mass consumption.

They use rats mainly for convenience. Very similar biologically speaking to humans so they're the next best thing to testing on humans themselves.

Sure it's a bit sad a few million rats each year die form this sort of testing, but if I had cancer and the doctor told me my medication was untested because killing rats is mean, I'd be pretty pissed.

Pretty much this. Animal testing should be reserved for essential things - and medical testing is essential.

This. I am definitely 100% opposed to testing cosmetics on animals though.

I guess it makes sense, a pig with lipstick on comes pretty close to the end product a lot of the time.

The restaurant I'm working at has gone from 6 to 32 branches in the past 2 years and will have another 18 open in the next year. It'll either crash horribly or be the success story of the decade.

Decided to rename my silly blog because everyone calls it Rant List anyway. However, I've no idea what font I once used for the logo so I figured I'd start from scratch (but keep it fairly similar). Do any of the below logos look at all tolerable?
