I've got an awful lot of all day gigs coming up in the next couple of months, and I'm thinking I need better ear protection than the usual foam earplugs I use. What effective but affordable (ie around the £10 mark) earplugs would people recommend?

These are very popular, and I'd recommend them. In a thread on another forum, almost everyone who used earplugs had these ones. I've never used any others though, so other people may have better suggestions.

ER-20s. Musician ear plugs that actually do more than just lower the volume.

Which actually does very little.
If it sounds good, listen to it

I entered my new address on eBay last night while I was very drunk, rather foolish I know, and put the wrong county, but everything else was correct. It should be fine, shouldn't it?

you could you know, just go on ebay and change it?
A friend of mine did something similar last night. She booked a train ticket to Dublin on saturday and entered her student house postcode with her parent's address in Newcastle, so it's tossup which the voucher to redeem the ticket at the station will get posted to. Silly girl.

If you've got the right postcode, and first line, it'll generally get there alright.
