Good call on the new Gates of Slumber.

Best album on that label is Blatently Astra's The Weirding
The Inner Tent is Not Flame Retardant!

Saw the story this morning about the scandal at the WJEC, didn't surprise me since I thought a few teachers sometimes knew a bit too much about exams.
But now I've just seen the video, and it's my old history teacher (first guy in the video) who's doing it!
When I was doing GCSE and A Level history it was open knowledge that he was also involved in writing the papers, and it was common sense that he'd not focus on teaching something that he knew would never come up, so it does give an unfair advantage for someone to be able to both write the paper and prepare students for it. I never suspected him of actually breaking any rules. But there were others at that school who weren't in the same position of writing the papers that seemed to know more than they should (and teaching different subjects, so it can't have come from him).
Obviously this is probably very wrong, but I'm struggling to condemn him because he was a fucking ace teacher and a proper sound guy.

I just flicked between image search for Oldman and Big Mo.

They do actually look similar.

Holy crap.

I just opened the window to look outside and the wind pushed it shut again. I'll just take that as a sign to stay indoors this evening.

Temporarily. "Summer" contract finished at the end of October so I signed on. Had an interview for a permanent job there last week though which I got, just waiting for a CRB check to go through before I can start.

What does this Eurozone shit mean to us? Some people are saying that Cameron fucking them off is a good thing, others are saying it is a bad idea. That Milliband prick has had his say but he would say the sky was green if the Conservatives said it was blue. -
