I think a dedicated thread beckons...

I hope she is cause I paid for her ticket and can't remember if she paid me back or not  We're just doing the fast stage on the Sunday though like.

Nah that's a shame man, but totally understandable. Always next year I guess!

That Cesaro out of the wrestling has gone had taken a selfie outside my old dentists (it's on the first floor, the door over his right shoulder is the entrance).

My sister tried to climb out of the waiting room window there once.
All right, so I MADE a mistake! ONE MISTAKE!
Can't a man start over?! Do I have to keep on PAYING?! HUH?!

I had a little mini rant about this the other day when somebody said they didn't want to go to a gig if they only knew one or two people there cause they'd feel like a loner. I don't mind doing things by myself, cause if I fancy doing something and nobody else does, then why should that mean I have to be bored? If I fancy a pint I'll happily go to the pub by myself etc.

But the relevant part; why do people see going to the cinema alone as such a weird thing to do? If you are by yourself or twenty people you do the same thing. Sit in a dark room watching the movie not talking to anybody.

I'm quite happy to do it because I really want to see it but going to the cinema (even though it's sitting in a dark room and not talking for a set length of time) is still seen as a social event as far as I'm aware. I've been to a ton of gigs on my own. I always feel a little awkward in all honesty but i'd rather that than miss out.

I quite enjoy going to the cinema alone. Makes me feel like a maverick! That said, i've only done it once and my housemate reacted like i'd got an abortion all on my own
2017 Gigs (here so I remember to go)

17/06 - Guns N' Roses - London
15/07 - Saor - London
10/08 - 13/08 - Bloodstock

It's something I enjoy, but there's still this nagging feeling in the back of my head like it isn't socially acceptable.

Which is stupid because other than discussing it afterwards, it's basically a completely solo experience.

Does Mummy still take these people to work? As they seem to need someone to hold their hand.
