Absolutely! I've had a pair of black pants for 10 years. Still no holes - M&S pants could survive a nuclear war.

Aye. Fabric dye is an absolute bugger to fetch out. Anyone wearing knickers with fabric dye still in must be a right dirty fucker. No one would want to go near THAT

But I do draw the line at those weird folk who don't wash their jeans, ever, as a principle, and put them in the freezer to 'kill the bacteria' instead.

My mate was friends with a crust punk who decided to take off his jeans in front of me to repair a hole. Hadn't been washed for a year. I threatened to spray deodorant on them so he moved them away from me! Bet they never saw the inside of a freezer.

8 years isn't very long! I probably have some knickers from when I was 16. It's not like I have the one pair for each day of the week - most of them have probably barely been worn!
