Re: A free-for-all thread
That probably sums up everyones opinion
Re: A free-for-all thread
Well having quickly googled him, I think I can revise my opinion to "A bit of a twat."
Re: A free-for-all thread
I find his policies and opinions brutal and offensive.
I hope they have a Libya-esque thing soon.

There really ought to be more important things to think about.
I'm happy to call you Stephen, but I will never, ever call anyone 'Ste'
You know what kind of people calls themselves 'Ste'? Absolute cunts, that's what kind.
My mate used to be called Ste. Like a pokemon he evolved from a naive 16 year old into Steve - a bearded long haired 25 year old.
He gets very annoyed when we talk of the next step, Steven, a 40 year old with a sensible haircut and 2.4 children.

I like the fact that you can't really shorten Amy, and anyone who does have the audacity to call me Ames gets a stern telling off.

Re: A free-for-all thread
My name is Rob, and several people have taken to calling me Bobby. Independently and inexplicably. Gets right on my tits.
And Sam is spot on re: "Ste"

Re: A free-for-all thread
Only about 3-4 people have ever called me Joseph on a regular basis.
Joe does just fine.

I know this topic has cropped up a few times before, but I never really took note before. I've got an awful lot of all day gigs coming up in the next couple of months, and I'm thinking I need better ear protection than the usual foam earplugs I use. What effective but affordable (ie around the £10 mark) earplugs would people recommend?

These are very popular, and I'd recommend them. In a thread on another forum, almost everyone who used earplugs had these ones. I've never used any others though, so other people may have better suggestions.

Ah nice one, I remember being recommended those by someone at uni too, but had forgotten the name of them. Cheers for the link
