It worth writing an abstract for a 3500 word project? I party think that the marker'll have to read it anyway, so why bother putting any sort of summarising brief, on the other, saying that I'm 'writing an abstract' sounds kind of awesome.

I'd say an abstract should be used for pieces of 5,000+ words, at least for the kind of stuff I have to write.

It's such a childish impulse. I tend to think less of people who express anger physically. That, and it's scary. :(

(I'm looking at James and his sat nav rage.. )

EDIT: I realise this maaay make it sound like James is a wifebeater. This isn't the case.

That's the other reason I've calmed myself down, if I lash out at stuff when I'm angry then that can only lead to bad shit.

I'll cannibalise it into an introduction then. Still, pretty good that I've started doing something for it I rekon.

I automatically assumed it wasn't due to the satnav thing.

If by satnav however it meant you yourself, I could understand it.
I constantly feel for my dad when he's being directed by my mum
"Okay, take the next left. No, not this left. The NEXT left"
"Turn right here, NO NO NO, MY RIGHT" (Yes. They are facing the same way in the car. No, I have no idea which right my mum is using :P. Ib4: "My right, when I'm fisting her" or something similar)

I'm a brilliant navigator. He whacked the sat nav out of frustration and switched it off, I picked up the road map, quickly found where we were, and gave him new directions. 8)

The flat opposite has had an Xmas wreath on their door since Monday. They're keen.

Can anyone tell me what a 'private haplotype' is, in the context of genetics? It's being written over and over again in an article I'm reading for my dissertation, and it's going on about how the Faeroe Islands have fewer 'private haplotypes'. Now, I reckon that's important. But wtf does it meeeean? :(

Switching from working days to working nights is killing me! Still, I have a fully charged ipod and 2 Clive Barker books (pretty sure I'm going to finish Weaveworld tonight so will take Everville with me as well) to keep me amused.
