Re: Cooking!
Made beer bread using weissbier. Turned out pretty well. Might try using stout at some point soon.
All right, so I MADE a mistake! ONE MISTAKE!
Can't a man start over?! Do I have to keep on PAYING?! HUH?!
Maybe I should make another mistake! ...maybe TWO more!

Well over 3 months since someone posted in this one.
Just did me a pesto roast veg with brown rice and it's swimming with flavour.

Re: Cooking!
Had baked garlic salmon with spicy kale and butternut squash mash last night. Was rather nice, but does anyone have any tips on how to make the butternut squash mash a bit less 'stringy' (for want of a better word). Was considering mixing it in with regular potatoes or using a hand blender to make it smoother.

Re: Cooking!
Curried goat scotch eggs turned out reasonably well, but there's room for improvement.
This time I added Curried Goat Seasoning and Scotch Bonnet chilli to the goat mince and some turmeric to the breadcrumbs to give a "Jamaican patty" colour.
Next time, I'm going to add some Tex's Jamaican curry powder and possibly a bit more scotch bonnet.

Having my first Kraft mac 'n' cheese. It's not bad for something you have to add a 'cheese sauce mix' to.
