That's one of my viewpoints as well. You can't buy alcohol or cigarettes, yet you can vote in probably the most important election in British history?

I was told that without the younger vote, it would be a landslide No victory. Not sure how true that is, I'm so ignorant and out of touch with this whole subject

I have more of a problem with idiots getting a vote, people should be IQ tested first ;)

It was bad enough when they gave votes to women. ;)

Not true, I know very few Yes voters that are my age. The rest are all No voters and have the stupidest reasoning for it.

That comment can be read very diffferently than what was meant.

Ian Paisley just popped his clogs. I'll take that as a good omen for a yes outcome. Over his dead body and all...

There's plenty of stupid reasoning on both sides unfortunately. I think the stupidest thing of all is how anyone can be undecided, when its such a simple question. You either want things to change or you dont. We have as much information as we're getting so just make a damn decision already.
Whichever way it goes, I'll be glad when its over. I'm sick of seeing and hearing about it everywhere I go. I know for a fact a lot of yes voters expect change immediately, which is unrealistic, so I take comfort in the fact the SNP probably won't last much longer. Regardless of what I vote in the referendum, yes or no, i'll not support the SNP.

Oh Mike your child like optimism amuses me.

Regardless of the result this isn't going away for a long time. I'm planning on steering clear of Facebook.

I see the problem as being uninformed voting rather than less intelligent people voting. Even a card-carrying Mensa member can vote without bothering to look into each option properly.
All right, so I MADE a mistake! ONE MISTAKE!
Can't a man start over?! Do I have to keep on PAYING?! HUH?!
Maybe I should make another mistake! ...maybe TWO more!

Yeah I imagine so. My hope is if its a no vote, the yes supporters will have a bitch for for a few weeks and the vast majority will then the shut the fuck up. The no supporters have been far less annoying I have to say.

I'm pretty sure if you're voting on something this massive, and then not doing any research, that makes you an idiot.
