I still think some slippery english politician wankers will find some way of making the deal screw over the english even though that should be improbable.

If it were feasible I'd separate their landmasses from us and move them into the mid-Atlantic to be our new nuclear testing area.

Alas it isn't to be.

So, you lot can have your own countries, your own currencies, your own military etc. Your independence campaigns seem to be long on "we're going our own way" while being short on "we'll stop sharing your institutions". Grow up and stand on your own two feet.

Oh and if your bufoniform CND reject socialist leaders want to make your new country an anti-nuclear haven, Plymouth is all too happy to accept your nuclear submarine maintenance deal. Sorry about the job losses...

So up north, a vote for independence and Scotland becomes the enemy?

The north is basically scottish by proxy anyway.

It's all gingers, terrible facial hair and incomprehensible grunting.

Not to mention the shellsuits.

Once you venture north of Bristol it's basically a desolate wasteland populated by feral subhumans.

Try a bit harder, mate. That was nearly entertaining.

If you genuinely believe that, I'd get yourself down to a bookies ASAP. They have the No campaign as a firm favourite, so you'll get a very attractive price on a Yes outcome. Personally, I tend to trust the bookies on this.
I was trusting the opinion polls but now look where they've gone :-o if the Yes vote goes through I think there'll be a lot of people the morning after feeling they did something really regretful like on a drunken bender the night before.

I think the problem is letting 16 year old kids vote. They can't even buy alcohol or cigarettes yet they are allowed a say on one of the most important votes ever. Baffling.

Apparently the "freedom LOL" votes will be high in the under 20s. Probably why the SNP wanted them to get the vote.

When does the vote happen?

And I'm still holding out for dystopian mad max-esque Scotland.

Brilliant

Actually most statistics have been saying the younger people are more likely to vote No.

I keep hearing that the reason that the Scots want independence is that they don't like Status Quo.

When did Three-Chord-Rock become a political issue?

Will they still play their gig at the Glasgow Hydro on the 7th of December if the Scots vote Yes?
All right, so I MADE a mistake! ONE MISTAKE!
Can't a man start over?! Do I have to keep on PAYING?! HUH?!
Maybe I should make another mistake! ...maybe TWO more!

Changed now with the most recent polls, every age group apart from the 60+ is pro-Independence. So the group most against it are the ones who will be affected the least by it!

This is the map of Exclusive Economic Zone division of the North Sea. Scotland goes indy, England loses all the oil fields of the green zone, which are almost entirely in the Scottish half.
