I've also finally dropped my hipster-like refusal to play Rooney. I'd always refuse to pick him, and he always ends the season as one fo the top point scorers.
Also I'm in like position 33,000 of 2 million overall. Think that's the highest I've ever been.

There's about 3 million overall, so you're nearing top 1%
meanwhile I'm having a shit start to the season again, the catchup should be fun though

Three weeks late, but I've finally got round to entering my team.
Re: Bloodstock Forum Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
Decided to go for a big spend name in Diego Costa in the hope i'll have someone to get me solid points each week even if the others do naff. Really not going well so far :/

Get Siggurdson if you haven't.
He and Dyer are the focal point of most of their attacks at this point.
And I took Costa out last week in a moment of madness. That 12 points would've kept me at the top of all my leagues. God fucking damnit. He's back in now for Rooney.

i put costa in for van persie, put him as my captain and got 24 points from him so definitely a wise choice. naismith has been surprisingly good, not expecting much from him against the big teams but he's been fairly consistent so far.

Bad news, everybody.
I put Costa in my team too. This means he is guaranteed to flop horrendously or get injured in the next game.

I've got both of them as well as costa now, brought in siggurdson after his week 1 performance in exchange for the red carded puncheon.

Re: Bloodstock Forum Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
So glad I ignored Gary and kept costa as the captain even after the injury
Jumped 13 places up the league in a single gameweek! Top 10 now, should be top 5 by next week considering my players aren't all playing each other for the first time in a while

He's singlehandedly bumping me up the table slowly.
Re: Bloodstock Forum Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
Dear god I'm glad I kept that guy.
I think anyone without Costa is gonna be fucked for the moment.

Diego Costa as captain pretty much salvaged my team this week. Transfered in Di Maria from next week onwards too, to play alongside Fabregas

I've got three weeks worth of points to catch up with from starting late but Costa has started my first week very nicely.
