It would've been Sonic 1, but my brother managed to break the cartridge before I was old enough to use a controller.

I can't be sure the first sega game I played was. Probably the Sonic/Sonic 2/Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine compendium.

Ecco The Dolphin, Mortal Kombat I and II, Madden Football '92, Batman Returns, Alien 3, Dynamite Heady and Mega-Lo-Mania (THE most underrated Sega game ever) were all staples in my granny's house in those days as well.

My first console of my own was the Playstation though. Christmas '95 with Ridge Racer, Wipeout, FIFA '96 and Worms. Fuck knows how ma could afford all that back then (£300 was a lot of money to us back then) and my first proper bike too. Still my favourite christmas ever.
