To be fair all you need to is change the date, the artists and the song names and you can just rehash the same article every year

Does anybody actually care that we never win? I don't think I've ever met someone who actually cares about Eurovision beyond having something else to talk about for a few days

I am unironically a massive Eurovision fan. It fascinates me to a ridiculous degree and I even watch the selection shows of other countries online when they're broadcast. I don't give a shit about how well the UK does at all.

I always thought it was like It's A Knockout and was only there to take the piss out of Europeans.

Bring that back again. I'd watch it.

I like seeing the whole continent get together and have a bit of kitsch/campy fun. And nah, not bothered that we don't win, but I do know what's keeping us from winning.

I'm intrigued to see how the Brexit vote will affect the UK vote. Obviously the UK countries will pan us but we might get a bunch of support from non-EU countries who are glad we're leaving...or we'll just get destroyed for being shit

Completely passed by me this year, I've even missed the usual "can you believe we've put X forward this year?" moans

I thought Portugal's was a Christmas song.

There was a couple of things I liked about Poland.

Montenegro & Finland were robbed of final places.

Belgium & Australia's performers couldn't sing and Cyrpus was utter crap. Some very strange voting.

Portugal was my favourite of what did get through.

Well, Mel Giedroyc and Simon whosits are cringe.

My money's on Romania because of the whole yodelling thing, even though the song underneath it is shite. Netherlands will do well on the strength of their vocal harmonies. Really on top of their game.

I want one of those leather biker jacket/dinner jacket combos like the big bloke from Croatia was wearing.

The overall quality of the second semi final was much higher than the first. Throw in no Baltic states or Russia in the final.... It's wide open!

It's not. Bulgaria, Portugal or Italy are the only ones in with a chance, mark my words.

Nice to see people talking the United Kingdom in with a chance of a top 5 finish though, even if I think out song is shite.

I'm still gutted that Macedonia didn't make it last night (or Slovenia on Tuesday night). Jana was stunning, and I love a woman in long boots  although she got proposed to after her performance so I suppose she won't be that gutted.
