I'd hardly call that backpedalling. While we're still in the EU, we remain bound by EU agreements? No shit!

Yeah, a lot of the "backpedalling" calls have been ridiculous so far. That and people judging a few days as the long term signs of how things will be.

Labour and the Tories need to get their act together, because at the moment their fighting (and in particular Labour's inability to listen to the electorate rather than tell them what they should be thinking) is hindering us. The can work out well if the politicians pull their fingers out of their arses and start working together to get the best outcome from the leaving process.

It's worth remembering that the Spectator is a Eurosceptic conservative publication.

If that makes anything they publish untrustworthy then surely the same needs to be said about the BBC and The Guardian's distasteful Remain muckraking?

Hell of a backstabbing for Boris. Is this a deliberate ploy to make sure an establishment figure oversees the exit negotiations? (And, in May's case, a remainer.)

There are a few of these but I think this is the best one:

Just think that nearly all the main parties could soon be lead by women as well as almost certainly having a woman PM.

Come on Tim! :P

EDIT:Looks like Leadsom's pulled out. Probably a bit too naïve to be honest.

Shame. If she'd been voted in as PM, the tories'd rip themselves apart. We could've been rid of both the tories and labour in one fell swoop. :/

Labour are demanding a General Election. Are they for real? They would get slaughtered.

I don't think you understand, like 300,000 people paid £3 so he could be leader, that is obviously representative of the general voting public and they would clean up.
