The best English girls tend to kind of look like Jane Seymour did in the 1970s.

The answer is slightly, yes. Not a full-on tsunami of Black Country like Mr Perrin though.

Brummie and Black Country are different anyway. Mr Perrin is virtually Welsh the way I see it.

Dan, I'd say do it sooner rather than later. Dragging it out can cause feelings of being a dick to ensue.

Ania is pretty right, if you're certain this is how it is. Plus you can't really take offense at what she might do if you break up with her, considering you're the one planning on dumping her and all...

Also, Brummie and Black Country is the same thing to me!

Apart from London which is basically its own smog ridden human filth infested country in a dome of pure evil and spite, the rest of the South basically is the same!

This. The biggest mistake I made with ending things with Welsh Woman is not doing it sooner, thinking that it made sense to wait til after exams etc., which when I explained as my reason for putting it off she found very condescending.

Basically there's no better time to do it than as soon as you're sure it has to end. There might be inconvenient events at the time, but in the long-run those won't be as important. Case in point was a few years ago when my fiance left me 3 days before my birthday. At the time I couldn't see how it could've been anything other than malicious timing, but now having experienced something like that from both sides I understand completely her decision to do it then and not let it drag out any longer.

Yeah, will probably do it next time I see her. That said, as a quick point about her views towards timing, a couple of months back I went through a couple of really down days, feeling really shit about everything and just wanted some company etc, I asked if she wanted to come over and do her work at mine for a bit, or me go there. Her response was to complain at me for happening to feel down when she had an essay due the next week, blaming me for feeling shit because she had more important things to deal with.

To Sam, I've already explained that my comment about what she'd do afterwards was a drunken moan and I've already accepted that it's completely irrelevant in terms of my decision.
