I think there'll probably be a lot less people if you don't live in a student town like Nottingham or Manchester, especially with age and distance settings as well. IIRC Mike lives somewhere in Scotland?

ah this was my problem, i said no to loads for really petty reasons such as i do not like their name i am between cities so there isnt really all that many people here. its a reasonable sized town but a lot of people move off to edinburgh or glasgow out of convenience.

however, my experiment with tinder is over. i got a few matches, but i am happy as a single guy for now and i have deleted my account.

I've given up on Tinder. I found it too odd when people were wanting personal stuff like snap chat and facebook?
I'm not even looking for anything, was just giving it a go to see if I got any responses. Now my ego is mildly boosted I'm going to go out more
There is only so many times I can type "hi, how are you, what have you done today, what music do you like?" etc.

Plus I've had a crazy couple of years relationshippywise, would take something decent to make me even want to do that again.
