Ummm sick of men at the moment.

There was this guy I liked but he lived 5 hours away. I went to see him a few times and he visited me. I got on well with him, his band and his family. Unfortunately I realised that the expense and distance was to much and we agreed to remain friends, I was scared of losing his friendship when he got together with someone and he said that would never happen.

Well I found someone here but kept in contact with my mate, met him at bloodtsoak and when to see him plat. Really liked this guy as a mate and my boyfriend understood.

Now all of a sudden he has a galfriend 9which I am happy for him) but now he ignores me and does not reply to my messages.

It sucks.
Why can't we still be mates?

I found it easy enough to do when I met someone. I would even had preferred him tell me before he totally ignored me.
I am really happy that he has someone as he is a lovely lovely guy, and I classed him as a good mate. They why this hurts so much

This has happened a few times with other guys.

I like to be honest and let them know if it can't work and try friendship without getting jealous when they meet someone so throw any relationships I may have in their faces. Yet when they get a gitlfriend they feel that they no-longer need my friendship.

I am a metaller girl, love most thinks male dominated so I get on better with guys and most of my mates are male. I know how to just be a mate, why can't they??

Guys will switch their attention to a new girl in their life, especially if it's on a more than friend's basis. Which is fair enough. It'll pass, they're in the 'can't spend a second apart' phase, it'll pass. Even the most level headed guys do it, it's not intentional, so don't take it that way, red m'dear.

I like a girl. A friend of a friend, you might say. I might be living with her next year, so I'm wary about asking her out.
