I'm incredibly choosey, naturally. And to be perfectly honest I don't go out of my way to find someone, because when I'm single I've found I can enjoy myself then too, so yeah, I don't go out looking for people for relationships, I just wait till I find someone and enjoy myself in the meantime.

It is so fucking nice waking up next to someone in their arms though. /soppy

Single for 5 years and absolutely no intention of changing that right now. I think I am too selfish with my free time as I just can't imagine giving up any of it for someone else. I know it sounds horrible but at least I realise this and don't string someone along for a few weeks just to get a shag.

To be fair, some guys like cooking. Like mine.

And he's an ace cook. :D He admires Metal Chef.
I was poking fun at the "men should never have a say in these matters."
And congrats, sounds like uve got urself a good'n
I do cook his tea most nights, yus. Unless we order. And I fully intend to do all the washing, ironing, cleaning and cooking when we live together. Because that is how I like these things to be done. Not that he can't/won't cook/clean/launder. People have developed too much of an aversion to tradition.

After my knee length cashmere dress got shrunk by Chris (Belt length) I made the decision that for the relationship to continue he would have to stay away from my clothes and the washing machine.

He pays me to do the rest of the cleaning, we both tend to cook.

I can cook, it's probably my most impressive date idea

Speaking of which, I'll be asking someone out in under 2 hours. If I dare...

Go for it!

As I got a job yesterday me and my boy made a lovely, rather boring, spreadsheet last night assessing our financial situation. (My boy loves spreadsheets...). The getting a house together ball is officially in motion. Were just waiting until next week (half term) to start looking at places.
My mum is getting a bit excited about it, she keeps offering us things to have, and was looking on rightmove last night.
She isn't keen to get rid of me, she just loves house buying/decorating and such
