Moving away from the subject of kids, which is quite frankly weirding me out...

My gorgeous man and I are probably one of, if not THE, gayest (as in sickly sweet/cute/loved-up) couples you will ever meet. Seriously. We even say and think exactly the same things ALL THE TIME, have cute nicknames for each other, are attached at the hip, etc etc. I love it. We've talked about marriage, but I don't know when this will be, I'm leaving it up to him to do all the proposing and stuff, 'cause I'm LIKE THAT. I'd kinda like it to be soon, to be honest... I like sparkly rings.

I enjoyed Sop's mum implying to his sister (who is also engaged) that my diamond was bigger than hers. I am a shallow and snide person- true. But it's nice to feel smug.

This. Though I'm not sure any surgeon would agree to it unless you already have kids.

Not that I'll be in danger of either but I'm totally against kids and marriage.

From the checking around I've done, if you're 25, and can convince them, they'll do it privatly. Only £400.

If I have children, I shall breed an army of little Fish, who shall go forth and be excellent.

No interest in marriage - I'm not christian so getting married would feel way too weird. No idea about kids, I figured it'd be good to continue the family line, but god help any child I raised

I think I'd make a good parent, but I'm so selfish right now, my 20s are for ME. If i change my mind I'll prob be too old to have them.
However the idea of fostering or adopting appeals to me a lot more, dunno why

You don't have to go through the 9 months of rollercoaster hormones (this applies to both sexes) and then the ordeal of hospital?

That is probably the reason. Only other reason I can think of is that anything I have that is my own I never look after properly, so maybe I think I'll do a better job of looking after kids that technically aren't my own lol

I've always said I don't want kids, but the more of my friends had children, the less convinced I was about my decision.

My ex boyfriend never wanted children (which was one of the reasons we split up a few weeks ago), and nowadays I always say:

If I have a child - fine, I'll be more than happy about that. If I don't have a child - well, the world is not going to end either.

I unquestionably want kids. Not right now, but in the future. Marriage is groovy too, although I'm not particularly keen on it being a massive affair.

I can definitely see myself 'getting married' (cough) and having kids if I meet the right person, controversial though that may be. Though I can't see anything of the sort happening until I can be sure that if I have a 'husband' (hate using that word to, makes me sound like a wife) and kids that I can definitely provide for them.

Especially since "marriage" pre dates Christianity.
