It'll only work if you're both 100% devoted to it. Which is why many of them (including my one) failed.

What you could do is meet up somewhere in between where you both live? Unless she's in another country or something. That'd be difficult.
If I like it, It's probably awful.

LDRs only make sense to me if there's a genuine intention to live together, and have a set timescale or plan to do so. Otherwise it becomes a pain for both parties, spending money to see eachother relatively infrequently without any plans to move towards a conventional set-up.

As horrible as it may sound, I wasn't looking to get back with her as such. I think I was just hoping for something to happen between us because when we were together, it was good. If you catch my drift there..
It's for the best that nothing's happened, because if it did, I know I'd start to have genuine feelings for her again, and that would just lead to me getting hurt again. When we broke up it really fucked me up, and I'd rather not go through that again.

Now, about Jage's situation..

Unless you've changed towards being capable of good platonic friends though best avoiding contact with ex's.

Currently typing this from my ex's bed, in which we'll both be sleeping tonight. No desire from either of us to ever have a physical relationship. Don't know how we managed to get to this from the messy breakup we had, but there you go.
