Creepy: Trust me, if a lady is still talking to you and hasn't upped and left abruptly you're more than likely not being creepy.
Creepy is leering and leaning towards you and saying really inappropriate things - that sort of stuff. I think you'd know if you were doing any of that.
and catch up, using the far from innaccurite excuse that since becoming unemployed I'm doing my nut in a bit and want to get out and hang out with more folk, and since it's been a while and everything.
