Me too. I met my bloke when I was in my late teens, and 7 years later we are as happy as can be and getting married this year.

Had a couple of short term (three-six months or so) relationships between then and 18
Two year relationship from 18-20
Between 20 and now I fucked whoever I wanted, whenever I wanted and I won't apologise because casual sex between consenting adults is fuck all to be ashamed of. I'm not saying everyone should do it but it works for me.

Basically, in the last five years, I've spend approximately three years in relationships and two years single. It's a fair bit of experience of both.

Also, Andrew, you also said you've been single for most of the last however many decades, most teenagers I know are in long term commited relationships.

Just because you can't get into or sustain a relationship doesn't mean that everyone can't.

It's statistics , and natural development, most people who meet and get married from a very young age eventually grow apart as they develope more later on, and 9/10 in different directions
