Tried that to fix my masturbation habits.
Now I'm a sadomasochist.
What's wrong with that?

Pretty much. You may not believe them, but nothing is more infuriating than someone constantly denying any compliment you pay them.
Agreed. The key for me was to ignore the fact that I may not believe the compliment, but the person that's giving it most likely does, so just say thank you and forget the fact you think it's all bullshit.

I haven't actually been single that long, but it is actually driving me slightly mental. I think I miss being in a relationship. Gahhh.

No point in being in a relationship just for the sake of it though. Single Pringles have more time for hobbies though.

Fair point, entirely. It's annoying though - when in a relationship, I miss having the complete sense of autonomy and when I'm single, I miss the whole companionship thing. I realise this is pretty standard, but hey. Grass is greener etc etc.

It's been about a month and a half since I got ditched by the girl I was crazy about and whilst I don't actually want to be with her anymore at this point and am currently sleeping with someone else, I still miss how things were like crazy and every moment alone feels like torture, so yeah :-/

I know what you mean, but these things will come around again when you least expect it.
