My ex girlfriend messaged this morning. Wanted to say sorry for hurting me and wanted me to know that she still cares about me and thinks about me a lot.

Not sure what to make of that to be honest. I've accepted the apology but I'm curious as to why she's suddenly said it. I know she's had a skype chat with a mutual friend (who she's close to). Hmm.
